Gary Paulsen

 Gary Paulsen was born in May 17,1939.  Gary loved books.  He was America's most popular writers for young kids.  When Gary was 14 years old he ran away and traveled with a carnival.  Gary was a busy man, he worked on a farm, jobs a an engineer, construction worker, ranch hand, truck driver, and a sailor.  He died at age 72.  He was a good man with many things.  His book Harris and Me was an autobiography.  He wrote about his life.  His parents were drunks.  But he had to live with it.  He didn't have a good life with his parents.
